I just wanted to post a quick note and thank you all for your ongoing support.
It has been a long off season since the Olympics in February of training and recruiting. With Korea being just over 3 years out, and being in a development stage with our crew. I would like to take the opportunity to formally introduce Lachlan Reidy to the team. A Rugby player and Crossfitter from just north of Sydney, he has made the enormous step to move to Calgary and call it home with his sights firmly set on 2018.
With that in mind, the first half of this season the 2 of us will be focussing on staying in North America and being competitive in the 2 man events.
The weekend just gone we were able to open up our sliding race season with 2 NAC race in Park City, Utah. Respectably finishing 16th and 11th in those races, improving every time we went on the ice.
This week we move to my home track (Calgary) where we will be racing at COP this Friday and Saturday at 3 pm. So if you are in the area, come out, bring your cow bells and show your support!!
We'd love to see you!
